Vice-President, Player Health & Performance
Alex McKechnie is the Vice-President of Player Health and Performance for the Toronto Raptors. After earning his degree in physiotherapy in Leeds, the Glasgow-born McKechnie started his career as head physiotherapist for Simon Fraser University in 1974. Since then, he has worked for the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Vancouver Canucks, the Canadian Men’s National Soccer Team, and the LA Lakers, where he won five NBA Championships. Alex joined the Raptors in 2011, as the Director of Sport Science, and won his sixth Larry O’B in 2019. He looks forward to winning more.
